During my experience in the ABA field, I became intrigued by speech therapy by witnessing my clients making strides beyond the scope of ABA interventions alone.While ABA primarily emphasizes enhancing communication skills in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through various methods, I recognized speech therapy's ability to further advance this progress by addressing specific speech-related challenges.
I am interested in furthering my career by pursuing studies in Speech Language Pathology. Exploring internship opportunities within the field would help me gain valuable experience and insight.
